Human Resources And Information Technology Committee Meeting 03/23/2022 – Will Vote On Request To Convert Part Time Position To Full Time, Receive Appleton Employee Mental Health Assessment Report

The Human Resource and Information Technology Committee is meeting this evening, 03/23/2022 at 6:30PM.

There is one action item on the agenda and that is to convert a part time position on the Department of Public Works Purchasing team to a full time position. Staff believes this change will allow the team to be “much more self-sufficient and able to provide backup duties to each other, greatly reducing the need for others to fill in.”

They will also receive a number of information items:

First – a report on the Parks and Recreation seasonal employees incentives that was also reported to the Parks and Recreation Committee and voted on by the Finance Committee.

Second – Information on an assessment recently conducted to “to determine if employees and their family members had appropriate access to mental health services through the City of Appleton.”

Third—A recruitment status update.
