The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 03/21/2022.
They’ll be receiving a presentation on the Action for Healthy Kids School Health Index Report and a report on a proposed update to the Homeless Education Program Policy. They will also be voting on a proposed Community Linkages Plan and on a Superintendent contract for newly chosen AASD Superintendent Greg Hartjes.
Of note, Polly VandenBoogaard who is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and has been employed by the district for 11 years, has submitted her resignation. She will be the fourth member of the leadership team to depart over the last year, following Assistant Superintendents James Huggins and Ben Vogel and Superintendent Judy Baseman.
