The City Plan Commission is meeting 12/08/2021 at 3:30.
There is one item on the agenda which is the request to approve a special use permit that would allow Tee Tees Nachos, a paint/craft studio, to sell alcohol on its premises. There are a couple parts to this process—the premise amendment and the alcohol license itself.
There were some concerns expressed during the alcohol license permit portion that allowing this business to sell alcohol would open the doors to the establishment of a tavern right next to a dense residential neighborhood. The Safety and Licensing Committee will be taking the alcohol license applications up at their meeting later in the day on 12/08, and I would expect that the actions of the City Plan Commission in regards to the premise amendment will influence their final decision. City staff is recommending approval of the premise amendment.
