This compares to a 7-day running average of confirmed cases only on this day last year of 27.14. (Appleton only started recording probable cases on 11/23/2020.) We currently have 161 active cases compared to 237 active cases on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first case) and September 19, Appleton recorded 8 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to 5 deaths during that same timeframe this year.
