Today is the 20th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Mayor Woodford has proclaimed today September 11, 2001 Remembrance Day in Appleton and has commended “all citizens to remember with eternal respect those whose lives were suddenly and mercilessly taken from them on September 11, 2001. May they forever rest in peach and abide in our memories.”
