During the 07/26/2021 Board of Education meeting, the members voted to begin the process for filling two vacancies on the Board.
As was already listed in the agenda for the meeting, Gary Jahnke has submitted his resignation effective 07/31/2021. During the Board meeting, President Kay Eggert announced that Board Member Barry O’Connor, who was not present, has also submitted his resignation, also effective 07/31/2021.
The Board voted to implement Board Policy 133 regarding the filling of vacancies.
They will post a notice calling for applications on July 29 and will ask that all applications be submitted by Monday August 16. Interviews and board appointments will take place during the August 23, 2021 Board of Education meeting.
