On 05/23/2021 Appleton recorded 1 new confirmed coronavirus case and 1 new probable case. Active cases decreased by 1 to 99. Cases out of isolation increased by 3 to 8,633. Death remained unchanged at 65.
There were 37 total confirmed cases over the last week and 6 total probable cases for a combined total of 43–up 13 from 30 the week before. The 2 week burden when calculated using both confirmed and probable numbers rose to 97. When calculated using only confirmed cases it was 84.
