City Of Appleton Seeks Members For Public Library Building Advisory Committee

The City of Appleton is forming an Appleton Public Library Building Advisory Committee. From the listing…

Public input will continue to be a priority throughout this project. In addition to opportunities for the general public to offer feedback and engage in the design process, a Building Project Advisory Committee is being formed to provide additional input at key phases throughout the process to ensure diverse representation and broad community involvement in this project.

This 25 member panel will consist of members appointed by the mayor. Approximately half will be appointed through an application process open to the public and the other half will consist of people appointed due to their connection to local non-profit and educational institutions.

The group is anticipated to have three meetings lasting 1-2 hours each.  Additional meetings may be scheduled if necessary.

The posting lists an application closing date of June 1, but Appleton City Hall has posted on their facebook page a closing date of May 24. I’d recommend getting your applications in sooner rather than later.
