The Safety and Licensing Committee is holding a special meeting 03/03/2021 at 6:45pm, 15 minutes before the Common Council meets.
On the agenda is a class A beer license, a cigarette license, an amusement device license, and a pet store license.
Apparently the amusement device license application is so that the BP gas station on S. Oneida Street can install a phone charging station. I didn’t know the definition of “amusement device” would include such an item.
The beer and cigarette licenses are also for the S. Oneida BP location. I tried to buy gas there a couple weeks ago and they were closed down; it looked like they were remodelling. I suppose beer, cigarette, and amusement device licenses are all standard amenities when you remodel your minimart.
The pet store license is for a fish store located in the Long Cheng Marketplace on Lawe Street. They plan to carry fish, fish foods, live bloodworms, dryblood worms, plants, and brine shrimp.
