Mayor Woodford will be presenting 3 mayoral proclamations during the 08/06/2025 Common Council meeting.
With the first he proclaims the month of August 2025 to be Breastfeeding Awareness Month in Appleton and encourages “citizens to join healthcare and breastfeeding advocates in celebrating and promoting awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding and supporting parents in doing so.”
With the second he proclaims August 26, 2025 to be Women’s Equality Day in Appleton and encourages “all citizens to join in the commemoration of this historic day to honor all women who have fought for and won the right to vote in all national elections.”
With the third, he proclaims August 6, 2025 to be Voting Rights Act Day in Appleton and encourages “all residents to honor this historic milestone by exercising their right to vote.”
