The Safety and Licensing Committee is meeting 07/23/2025 at 5:30PM.
They will be conducting 5 demerit point violation appearances. Stuc’s Pizza, the Walmart on Calumet, Appleton Liquor, Rascal’s Bar and Grill, and Scuba’s Pourhouse were each assessed 80 demerit points for dispensing alcohol to minors.
They will also be voting on 3 action items which include a request to provide alcohol sales/service at the Farmer’s Market, a reserve alcohol license application, and a temporary premise amendment application from the Performing Arts Center for a cookout event.
As information items, they will be receiving the mid-year reports for the Fire Department and the Legal and Administrative Services department as well as reviewing recent alcohol license violations for El Azteca, Lindo Michoacan, Mill City Public House, Northland Amoco, and the Bent Keg all of which were convicted of selling alcohol to minors.
