The City Plan Commission is meeting 06/11/2025 at 3:30PM.
They have one action item with associated public hearing on the agenda which is a request to rezone 72.29 acres on the north side of the city along French Road that were recently annexed into the city from AG Agricultural District to R-2 Two-Family District.
Attached to the agenda packet is an email city staff received from a neighbor saying that she does not want the property developed but recognizes nothing she can say or do will prevent that from happening and expressing concern that the property is being zoned R-2 which will allow for two-family units, while she would prefer only single-family homes be built.
