The Community Development Committee is meeting 04/23/2025 at 4:30PM.
They will be holding a public hearing on the draft of the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program.
They also have two action items that are not housekeeping items related to the start of the new Council year.
The first is a request to approve texted amendments to Municipal Code Chapter 4 Buildings, Section 4-161 to add an erosion control permit fee and for the permit fee schedule to be updated to increase the erosion control permit fee to $50.
The second action item is a request to renew a lease with Maple Lawn Dairy for crop farming of undeveloped land in Southpoint Commerce Park.
As information items, they will be discussing the 2025-2029 consolidated plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program, reviewing the Inspection Division Permit Summary Report, and reviewing the proposed administrative reorganization of the Community Development Department.
