In-Person Absentee Voting For April 1 Election Runs 03/18-03/28 – Board Of Education Race And District 11 Race Are Only Two Competitive Local Elections

In-person absentee voting for the April 1 election started today, 03/18/2025.

There are only two competitive local races in Appleton, the race for the District 11 aldermanic position and the Appleton Area School District Board of Education Race.

DISTRICT 11 RACES

Current District 11 Alderperson Kristin Alfheim is not seeking reelection after winning a Wisconsin State Senate seat.

BOARD OF EDUCATION (TOP 2 CANDIDATES WILL EACH WIN SEATS)

Current Board member Pheng Thao is up for reelection and current Board member James Bacon did not seek reelection.

All three candidates are recommended by the Democratic Party of Outagamie County.
