The Community Development Committee is meeting 03/12/2025 at 4:30PM.
They have five action items on the agenda, four of which are setting various fees and prices for 2025.
The first fee related item would increase reinspection fees for permitted work from $35 to $75.
The second item would increase the fee for erosion control from $40 to $50.
The third would update the Electrical Permit Fee Schedule to correct the fee amount to $85 for work costing $1,001 to $10,000. The Annual Budget incorrectly listed the fee at $75, but it is $85.
The fourth would maintain the current purchase price for city-owned property in business/industrial parks at $43,000 per acre.
The remaining, non-fee related item, would update the Municipal Code to remove all language related to the Board of Heating Examiners which is a board that no longer meets.
As information items, the committee will be receiving information on the upcoming Comprehensive Plan Community Workshop scheduled for 03/18/2025.
They will also be reviewing the most recent Inspection Division Permit Summary report.
