The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 09/23/2024 at 6PM.
They will be reviewing a proposal to renew the District’s self-funded health plan for 2025.
They will be voting on a request to approve the District’s Personnel Administration monitoring report. The District is compliant with a couple exceptions noted. 7 staff members (0.4% of personnel) were properly evaluated as per policy. Those 7 members with incomplete evaluations were all maintenance staff members and the incomplete evaluations were due to a change in leadership. Additionally, one professional educator was unlicensed. They had all the qualifications and education for licensure and had applied for a license but did not complete the licensure requirements within the Department of Public Instruction’s timeline. That educator is now properly licensed.
In addition to those two items, the Board will be voting on and reviewing several other routine items.
