The Finance Committee is meeting 09/23/2024 at 5:30PM.
They have two action items on their agenda.
The first is a request to approve the sole source purchase of Variable Frequency Drive equipment and commissioning services to Werner Electric for $37,573. These drives are used to control the pumps that supply filtered water to ultraviolet reactors in the Appleton Water Treatment Facility. The VFD for one of the pumps recently failed and needs to be replaced, and the VFD staff would like to purchase is compatible with the existing unit.
The second action item is a request to approve Statement of Non-Reimbursement by Utility DOT forms pertaining to the Ballard Road/41 interchange project.
As information items they will be receiving an update on a sewer cleaning and televising contract and a budget adjustment.
