Municipal Services Committee Meeting 09/23/2024 – Will Hold Design Hearing For 2026 Pavement Projects, Vote On Ballard Road Driveway Extension Variance, Vote On Request From Prevea To Purchase Two Parking Stalls

The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 09/23/2024 at 4:30PM. They have one public hearing and 3 action items on the agenda.

The public hearing is a design hearing for a number of pavement projects slated for 2026.

The action items include the variance request for a driveway extension for a property on Ballard Road. The committee originally voted to deny this variance, but it was then referred back to the committee by Alderperson Chris Croatt (District 14) and then held at the last committee meeting when neither Alderperson Croatt nor the homeowner was in attendance.

The committee will also be voting on a request to approve a utility easement release of rights for the Richmond/41 intersection. This is related to the Highway 41 expansion project.

They will also be voting on a request from Prevea Health to purchase two on-street parking stalls on Washington Street to be used by their patients. The request meets the city’s criteria for approval of such purchases.
