The Parks and Recreation Committee is meeting 08/12/2024 at 6:15PM.
They have three action items on the agenda.
The first is a request to approve the use of $27,459.47 from the Reid Golf Course fund balance to pay for updates to its irrigation system and software.
The second is a request to approve a request to hold the special Irish Fest event in Jones Park on 09/13/2024 – 09/14/2024. Per the memo, “Because Irish Fest is charging attendees a fee to attend the event, the Committee will need to give approval.”
The third is a request for a raffle license to facilitate the Parks and Recreation Department selling raffle tickets for the Mom Prom event on 03/08/2025.
Finally, as an information item, they will be receiving the July 2024 Revenue and Expense Report For Reid Golf Course.
