The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 07/22/2024 at 4:30PM.
They have four action items on the agenda.
The first is a request from The 513 Appleton on College Avenue for a street occupancy permit to install 5 exterior lights that extend over the public right of way.
The second is a request to approve a utility easement release of rights for the I-41 project water main relocation.
The third is a request to approve the State/Municipal agreement for the design and construction of the Lawe Street Bridge over the Navigational Canal. The costs are divided on a 80/20 basis with the state paying 80% of the cost. The city will pay the remaining 20% of the cost which amounts to $347,304 plus any costs that run over and above the $1,389,216 the state has committed to pay.
The fourth and fifth items are requests to approve ordinance changes related to the Summit Street reconstruction project that will ban parking on the west side of the areas of Summit Street that were recently reconstructed.
