The Common Council met 04/03/2024. One of the items that was separated out for an individual vote was the request to approve the transfer of $2 million in ARPA funds to the Library Project.
There was minimal discussion about this, so there is no need for a transcript. Alderperson Sheri Hartzheim (District 13) merely wanted it clearly noted for the record that the $2 million was going toward the cost of installing broadband in the library per the original 2021 allocation because the memo regarding the transfer of funds did not specify what the money would be used for.
The item was approved by a vote of 13-1 with Alderperson Chad Doran (District 15) voting against it.
