The saga of the fourth addition to the Clearwater Creek subdivision has come to an end with the Common Council voting 11-4 to approve the final plat of the fourth addition.
This item was not even originally separated out for an individual vote by any of the Council members; however, Mayor Woodford noticed a member of the Clearwater Creek neighborhood sitting in the audience at the Council meeting and, as a courtesy to that person, asked personally for the item to be separated out.
Had it not been separated out, it would have been approved unanimously as part of the balance of the agenda. As it was, it was approved with no discussion by a vote of 11-4 with Alderpersons Vered Meltzer (District 2), Israel Del Toro (District 4), Patrick Hayden (District 7), and Alex Schultz (District 9) voting against the item. This vote mirrors the vote that was taken on 09/20/2023 for the preliminary plat.
