The Human Resources and Information Technology Committee is meeting 03/08/2023 at 6:30PM.
They have one action item on their agenda which is a request to over hire a Residential Building Inspector position. For some positions, the city asks to over hire for several weeks if not even a couple months in order to get the new employee up and running, but for this position they are requesting only one week to train the new employee. A vacancy in the HVAC Building Inspector position will offset the cost of the over hire.
The committee will also be receiving updates the Recruitment Status Report as well as the move of the city’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from an on-site system to a cloud-based system hosted by Amazon Web Services.
