The Human Resouces and Information Technology Committee is meeting this evening, 09/14/2022, at 6:30PM.
There are a couple of action items related to Parks, Recreation, and Facilities positions, but I would think that the action item of most interest to the public is the one related to aldermanic salaries. The committee will need to decide whether or not to recommend a salary increase for 2024 and, if so, how much of an increase. By law, sitting Council members are not allowed to vote on their own salaries which is why they have to vote on salaries 2 years ahead of time.
There are also a few information items including a Table of Organization change for the library and a systems analyst position.
