The Board of Health is meeting 06/08/2022 at 7AM.
There are no action items of note, but the committee will, as an information item, be received the Quarter 1 report.
Worthy of remark is the item that is not on the agenda. For the first time since the start of the pandemic, there is no Covid-19 Update listed on the agenda. As posted yesterday, cases are currently up quite a bit in Appleton as compared to this time last year. Per statistics from the WI DHS, Appleton had 172 cases over the course of last week, as compared to 12 the same week of 2021, and 25 the same week of 2020. The death rate is down quite a bit however compared to previous years. Absent a statement regarding the lack of a Covid-19 Update, one can only speculate as to the reasons for its absence.
