The Fox Cities Transit Commission is meeting 04/26/2022 at 3PM.
The one action item that is not a routine item is the Valley Transit Contract Amendment Request by Lamers Bus Lines. There is nothing in the agenda packet indicating what the amendment is regarding.
They will also be receiving several information items including and update on the Valley Transit II services. The commission has received updates on VTII services for the last few meetings due to the staffing issues VTII has been experiencing leading to problems providing services in a timely manner.
They will also be receiving the March ridership report. Ridership numbers are up from last year, but not comparable to the numbers prior to the pandemic. [Although the federal mask mandate was not overturned until April 19 and so does not impact the ridership numbers for March, it will be interesting to see the numbers going forward, particularly in May forward, to see if the change to the federal mandate has any impact on ridership numbers.]
The commission will also have a “Tripper Discussion”. [I don’t use Valley Transit services so have no idea what “tripper” refers to, but it sounds interesting.]
