Two Mayoral Proclamations Presented At 07/16/2025 Common Council Meeting – Children’s Week And Parks And Recreation Month

During the 07/16/2025 Common Council meeting, Mayor Woodford introduced two mayoral proclamations.

With the first he proclaimed the week of July 20 – July 26, 2025 to be Children’s Week in Appleton and urged “all citizens to support efforts and attend events to celebrate the children of our communities.”

With the second he proclaimed the month of July 2025 to be Parks and Recreation Month in Appleton and urged “all citizens to join with other communities in recognizing that parks and recreation services are essential to the quality of life not only in July, but through the entire year.”
