The Safety and Licensing Committee is meeting 06/11/2025 at 5:30PM.
The agenda consists almost entirely of a whole bunch of license applications and license renewals, not only for alcohol but also for other businesses that require licensure such as pet stores and salvage businesses. There are also a lot of temporary license and premise amendment applications related to the upcoming Mile of Music event.
As an informational item, the committee will be receiving information on four recent alcohol license violation convictions. Lindo Michoacan and the Walgreens at 700 W. College Avenue each were convicted of not having a licensed operator on the premises. Foxtrot Saloon and Stucs Pizza were each convicted of selling alcohol to minors.
Finally, they will be receiving an update on the Appleton Area School District truancy initiative.
