The Finance Committee is meeting 06/09/2025 at 5:30PM.
They have seven action items on the agenda. A few of them are related to the forgivable loans associated with the Safe Drinking Water program. A couple are related to projects at the wastewater treatment plan.
They will be voting on a request to increase by $70,000 the contract with Booth Management Consulting to manage ARPA grants. Per the memo from staff, “Quarterly reporting, due to the level of technical assistance needed to ensure compliance for our internal and external projects, has proven to be more time intensive than initially estimated at the time of our first contract amendment (which did not change the contract budget).” This increase will bring the amount of ARPA dollars the city has paid to Booth to manage the city’s ARPA dollars to $220,000.

They will also be voting on a request to approve two resolutions for the development of a corridor study and comprehensive bike and pedestrian plan for the area of Appleton, Harrison, Buchanan, and Kaukauna. It looks like Appleton’s cost for this would be around $18,000.
