The Fox Cities Transit Commission is meeting 03/25/2025 at 2:50PM.
They will be voting on a request to purchase a maintenance support vehicle for $64,649.50. This vehicle will help staff provide support services including maintaining bus facilities, shelters, and bus stops.
They will also be voting on requests to award 2 contracts to Running Inc, one to provide Northern Winnebago Dial A Ride services and one to provide Outagamie County Rural services. Running Inc currently provides each of those services but the contracts expire at the end of June.
Finally, they will be voting on a request to award a 4-year contract with 3 one-year extensions to STAR Protection and Patrol for security services in the downtown transit center. STAR currently provides those services, but their contract is up at the end of June.
Information items include an update on funding for capital projects as well as the ridership report for February 2025. Total monthly fixed route ridership numbers are down 25% for February 2025 compared to February 2024 and down 19% year to date 2025 compared to 2024.
