Utilities Committee Meeting 02/11/2025 – Will Vote On $425,000 2025 Ash Tree Removal Contract

The Utilities Committee is meeting 02/11/2025 at 4:30PM.

They have one action item on their agenda which is a request to award the 2025 Ash Tree Removal Contract to Foley’s Tree Service, LLC for an amount not to exceed $425,000. This will cover the cost of removing approximately 900 trees throughout the city.

As information items, they will be reviewing the water main break reports for October, November, and December of 2024. In December of 2024, the city identified 21 breaks or leaks which was 8 more than the 13 they located in December of 2023, but overall breaks in 2024 were only 66 which was 20 less than the 86 the city had in 2023.
