The Finance Committee is meeting 01/06/2025 at 5:30PM.
They have one public appearance which is the 2024 annual report and annual financial report for the Appleton Yacht Club.
They also have two action items they will be voting on.
The first is an amendment to the contract the city has with Restoration Systems, Inc for repairs to the Green Parking Ramp. The amendment would increase the contract total by $17,225. Per the memo from staff, “Pace of design by others of the permanent repairs for Green Ramp resulted in the need for RSI to extend temporary shoring rental beyond the 28 days initially included in the base contract. Based on actual completion date, 53 days of rental were required.”
The other action item is a request to approve a sole source contract with Chet Wesenberg Architect for the 2025 Interior Finishes and Furniture Project for the Community Development Department in the amount of $67,400. Staff is asking to sole source the contract because Chet Wesenberg has provided architectural and engineering services for all of the other phases of the City Hall renovation and their fees were “very competitive”.
Finally, as information items, the committee will be receiving updates on a number of completed contracts.
