The Common Council met 11/13/2024 for a special meeting to adopt the 2025 executive budget and service plan.
Mayor Woodford presented an overview of the budget on 10/02/2024. It was reviewed and voted on by the Finance Committee on 11/02/2024 during which all departmental budgets were approved with only one minor amendment to the Library Budget decreasing part-time wages and increasing fringes in an amount of $25,352.
The Common Council voted unanimously to approve the recommendations of the Finance Committee and adopt the 2025 executive budget and service plan.

No members of the public spoke at the meeting and the deliberations by the Common Council were fairly straightforward. The Council unanimously approved the budget with no attempts to amend it.
Mayor Woodford thanked the Council for their engagement and scrutiny of the budget and thanked staff for their work throughout the budget process, particularly Finance Director Jeri Ohman and her team.
