Municipal Services Committee Meeting 11/11/2024 – Will Receive Update On College Avenue Lane Reconfiguration Trial

The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 11/11/2024 at 4:30PM.

They will be receiving the August 2023 – July 2024 report on the College Avenue Lane Reconfiguration trial.

They will also be voting on 5 other action items.

The first is a request to approve a single-source contract for design and construction-related services for the 2025 repair and maintenance program for the red, yellow, and green parking ramps.

The second is a request to approve a two-month long occupancy permit for a dumpster to be placed in the parking lane at 213 E College Avenue.

The third is  a request to approve a $100,000 increase to the city’s contract with Westwood Professional Services for materials testing. The city has several outstanding projects that will require testing including the proposed Thrivent Development, the Lightning Drive extension project, and repairs on the Green Parking Ramp.

The fourth is a request to approve a service contract with Traffic Control Corporation for traffic signal control and management software.

The fifth is a request to approve the purchase of parking in the Yellow Parking Ramp by Mosaic Family Health. Mosaic would like to purchase 5 designated parking stalls for a minimum of three years.
