The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 10/14/2024 at 6PM.
In honor of Wisconsin school Board Week, the District will be recognizing the Board of Education members for their commitment to their communities and students.
They will be voting on materials adoption and name change for the dual credit enrollment course Practices in Health Care.
They will also be voting on proposed changes to the 2025 health care plan which include discontinuing the Health Reimbursement Account, increasing copays for emergency room visits and primary care provider visits, and requirement employees to complete the Personal Health Assessment in order to qualify for the premium differential. These changes will allow the District to lower the premium increase from 20.8% to 14%.
As an information item, they will be reviewing the School/Student Services Report on the 2024-2025 District Scorecard.
They will be reviewing the framework the district uses to deal with attendance issues.
They will also be reviewing the 2025-2025 preliminary budget.
