The Community Development Committee is meeting 10/09/2024 at 4:30PM.
They have three action items on their agenda, all three of which are proposed text amendments to the Municipal Code.
The first proposed amendment would clarify that structures, in addition to buildings, require a building permit to construct.
The second proposed amendment would require fences to be anchored at least 48 inches in the ground and would also move the Department of Public Works Driveway Installation Policy into the Municipal Code, making it more accessible to people.
The third proposed amendment would clarify that fences around swimming pools are structures and are required to be shown on a plot plan drawing of a proposed pool.
As an information item they will be receiving an overview of the proposed 2025 budget for the Community Development Department.
