Mayor Woodford To Present Two Mayoral Proclamations At 09/18/2024 Common Council Meeting – Constitution Week And Co-Responder & Crisis Responder Week

This evening during the 09/18/2024 Common Council meeting, Mayor Woodford will be presenting 2 mayoral proclamations.

With the first he proclaims September 17-23, 2024, to be Constitution Week in Appleton and encourages “all citizens to acquaint themselves with our Constitution, by vigilantly protecting and defending the freedoms guaranteed to us through this guardian of our liberties, remembering that lost rights may never be regained.” [Alternately, you could acquaint yourself with the Constitution simply by reading it.]

With the second, he proclaims September 15-21, 2024, to be Co-Responder & Crisis Responder Week in Appleton and encourages “all residents to join in recognizing, celebration, and raising awareness to the important work of Co-Responders and Crisis Responders in our community.”
