Library Board Meeting 08/20/2024 – Will Vote On Multiple Policies Including New Use Of AI Technology Policy

The Library Board is meeting 08/20/2024 at 4:30PM.

They have a number of action items on the agenda including two 2025 agreements with the Outagamie Waupaca Library System, reports from the Library Board’s Finance Committee and Nominating Committee, and four different City of Appleton policies.

One of the policies is a recently created policy outlining the responsible us of artificial technology such a ChatGPT.

They will also be receiving a number of information items including updates on the children’s program and community partnerships, a review of the 2^nd quarter statistics, and a building project update.
