The Fox Cities Transit Commission is meeting 07/23/2024 at 2:50PM.
They have three action items on the agenda. One is the routine request to approve monthly payments. The other two are requests to authorize the acceptance of grant funds for the Whitman Facility remodel project and the Transit Center development. They have been awarded $12 million for the Whitman facility project and $25 million for the transit center project.
They also have a number of information items.
They will be receiving a presentation on the 2023 Valley Transit audit.
They will also be receiving an update on the implementation of the reduction in bus service hours that was approved in June.
They also receive the 2nd Quarter Key Performance Indicators report as well as the financial and ridership reports for May and June. In June of 2024, they had a total number of 48,072 riders on their fixed route buses. This is below where the numbers they had in 2023 and 2022 and well below the 67,334 riders they had in June of 2019 prior to the Covid response.
