Community Development Committee Holding Special Meeting 07/17/2024 – Will Vote On 60-Day Extension Request To Purchase Date By Merge LLC For Site Of Blue Parking Ramp

The Community Development Committee is holding a special meeting this evening 07/17/2024 at 6:45PM prior to the Common Council meeting at 7PM.

They will be voting on a request from Merge LLC for a 60-day extension to the purchase date for the property on the corner of Washinton Street and Appleton Street which formerly housed the Blue parking ramp. They are waiting for the DNR Clearance Letter which they need before the sale can be finalized. Per the memo, “Once the clearance letter is received, closing can happen any time with the 60-day extension.”
