Mayor Woodford To Present 4 Proclamations At 07/17/2024 Common Council Meeting – Make Music Day Appleton, Children’s Week, Glioblastoma Awareness Day, Parks And Recreation Month

Mayor Woodford will be presenting four proclamations during the 07/17/2024 Common Council meeting.

With the first he proclaims Friday, June 21 to be Make Music Day Appleton and encourages “all residents to join in the celebration of this event.”

With the second he proclaims July 21 – July 27 to be Children’s Week in Appleton and urges “all citizens of support efforts and attend events to celebrate the children of our communities.”

With the third he proclaims July 17, 2024 to be Glioblastoma Awareness Day in Appleton and urges “all citizens to increase their understanding of glioblastoma, support efforts to find a cure, and offer compassion to those impacted by this disease.”

With the fourth, he proclaims July 2024 to be Parks and Recreation Month in Appleton and urges “all citizens to join with other communities in recognizing that parks and recreation services are essential to the quality of life not only in July, but throughout the entire year.”
