The Finance Committee is meeting 06/10/2024 at 5:30PM.
Their agenda items seem fairly straightforward, and nothing stands out to me as likely to generate a lot of conversation.
The first item is a request from the Police Department to paint a mural on the department’s parking garage at 222 S Walnut Street. This request was already approved by the Public Arts Committee.
The second item is a request to apply for a Wisconsin DNR Safe Drinking Water Loan to replace private lead service lines in the city. The program allows for principal forgiveness in certain situations and the city would only accept funding if principal forgiveness is included, so the city will not need to repay these loans.
The third item is a request to approve a contract for a wastewater treatment plant project to Sabel Mechanical for an amount not to exceed $450,915.
Their final action it is a request to aware the 2024 Lutz Park Trail and Shoreline Development Project contract to Vinton Construction Company for a total not to exceed $595,614.35. This work includes a trail along Lutz Drive, LED lighting throughout the park, shoreline stabilization, and ADA improvements to the canoe/kayak launch and observation deck.
