The Finance Committee is meeting 12/11/2023 at 5:30PM.
They will be taking up two resolutions, Resolution 13-R-23 that would reallocate $25,000 of ARPA funds to cover the cost of an additional 10 Flock license plate reading cameras and Resolution 14-R-23 that would change the timeline for budget delivery to the Common Council from the first Wednesday in October to on or before the third Wednesday in September. These were both held at the 11/20/2023 committee meeting and are now back before the committee. There are no staff recommendations pertaining to these resolutions attached to the agenda.
The committee will also be voting on some budget amendments, a reallocation order related to the reconstruction of Linwood Avenue, and a change order to the Unit Y-23 Lead/Galvanized Water Service Replacements contract.
Finally, they will be voting on a request to create a special revenue fund for Ellen Kort Peace Park. This fund will include $39,808 that have been donated to the city to be used for future upkeep and maintenance of the Sexual Assault Survivors Monument within the park.
