The Human Resources and Information Technology Committee is holding a special meeting 11/15/2023 at 6:30PM ahead of the Common Council meeting at 7PM.
They will be voting on two action items.
The first is a request to over hire the Executive Assistant to the Police Chief position. The current Executive assistant has been in the position for over 30 years and Police Chief Polly Olson would like to have her train her replacement for two weeks prior to her departure on 01/02/2024.
They will also be voting on a request to approve the 2024-2026 contract changes with the police union.
