Finance Committee Holding Budget Saturday Workshop 10/28/2023 – Will Review Mayor’s Proposed Budget

The Finance Committee is holding a special meeting 10/28/2023 at 8AM.

Colloquially referred to as “Budget Saturday,” this is the meeting at which the alderpersons will go through the budget that has been proposed by Mayor Woodford, make any changes they believe are warranted, and provide a recommendation to the Common Council on what to approve. This meeting is a long one which last year ran for 6 ½ hours and the year before that ran for 4 hours.

While technically this is a meeting of the Finance Committee and only Finance Committee members can vote, all alderpersons are encouraged to attend and participate.
