The City Plan Commission is meeting 09/27/2023 at 3:30PM.
They will be voting on a rezoning request for the Prospera Union annexation located at 4704 N Ballard Road. This property was previously annexed into Appleton from Grand Chute, and Prospera is now wanting to rezone it from residential and agricultural to commercial.
The commission will also be voting on a request to approve the Fourth Addition to Clearwater Creek Final Plat. The preliminary fourth addition plat resulted in a lot of pushback from the existing residents of Clearwater Creek but was eventually approved by the Common Council. It remains to be seen if residents will attend this meeting and oppose the final plat.
The commission will also receive an information item regarding the contract for consulting services related to the City of Appleton Housing Development Policy, Process and Stakeholder Engagement Services. The city wants to conduct a study related to improving the city’s economic development experience. Staff issued a Request for Proposals and, after reviewing the proposals, is recommending the city contract with Green Bicycle Co to conduct the study.
