The Common Council met 09/20/2023. One of the items on the agenda was Resolution 9-R-23 the Resolution Supporting Mental Health Awareness and Services in the City of Appleton.
The resolution had been recommended for approval with no changes by the Board of Health during their 09/13/2023 meeting; however, the video of that meeting was not available. Alderperson Katie Van Zeeland (District 5) said that several Council members had reached out to her as the Council President and expressed concern that they had been unable to view the Board of Health’s discussion about the resolution.
For that reason, she requested that the item be referred back to the Board of Health for further discussion.
