The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 04/24/2023 at 4:30PM.
They have two housekeeping action items which are to elect a vice chair and a member to serve on the Central Equipment Agency Board.
They will also be taking up two non-housekeeping action items.
The first is a request to aware the 2023 College Avenue Lane Reconfiguration Pavement Marking Contract. Quotes were only opened on 04/20/2023 so there staff is still finalizing their recommendation. A memo regarding the anticipated contract will be distributed at the meeting.
The second action item is Resolution 3-R-23 which calls for staff to review the current street lighting policy and make recommendations for changes with the goal of reducing overall cost while still fulfilling the mission to provide and maintain consistent quality street lighting throughout the City.
Finally, as an information item, Resolution 1-R-23, the anti- pesticide, herbicide, and fertilizer resolution, will be withdrawn. This item will not be discussed, but Mayor Woodford states in the withdrawal memo that “the authors have indicated their intent to rework the Resolution and resubmit it in the future.”
