The April 4th spring general election is only a few days away. Outside of the Appleton Area School District Board of Education race there is only one other Appleton-specific race of note on the ballot and that is the race for the District 7 aldermanic position. All of the incumbents in the other odd numbered districts are running unopposed, but Alderperson Maiyoua Thao of District 7 opted not to seek another term. Karl Koenig and Patrick Hayden are the two candidates running for that district.
