Tonight, during the 03/01/2023 Common Council meeting, Mayor Woodford will be presenting three mayoral proclamations.
With the first, he proclaims March 12-18, 2023 to be MS Awareness Week in Appleton and encourages “all residents to educate themselves on the symptoms of MS for early identification and to participate in upcoming community awareness and fundraising events.”
With the second, he proclaims March 2023 as Be Active Wisconsin Month in Appleton and encourages “all residents to participate in the Community Challenge promoted by the Parks & Recreation Department during March.”
With the third, he proclaims March 2023 as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in Appleton and encourages “all residents to take this special opportunity to become more aware of the importance of early detection and screening.” [It’s nice that the mayor is taking the time to tell everyone to get colonoscopies.]
